# Backup and restore

> Back up your content, import it again, and move to a new phone.

## Automatic backup

StudentHub can back up to iCloud Drive automatically. The five newest backups are kept, and the backup runs when you put the app away, not while you use it.

You find the backups in the Files app. If iCloud Drive is not available, sign in to iCloud and turn on iCloud Drive in Settings.

## Back up now

Open **Settings, Data and storage**, then **Backup**, and tap **Back up now** for a copy straight away. You can also export one file with all your content and save it wherever you like.

## Import

Choose **Import data** and pick a backup file.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Importing replaces all current content with the contents of the file. This can't be undone.

## I changed phone

Sign in with the same Apple Account, and your content comes back by itself once iCloud has synced. Purchases come back with **Restore purchases** on the Pro screen. If you have a backup, import is in Settings.
