# Language

> The app language and the recording language are two different things.

## App language

StudentHub is available in Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, German, English, Spanish, French and Italian. Change it under **Settings, Language and region**. Your notifications follow the language you pick.

## Recording language

The recording language is the language your lectures are held in. It is separate from the app language, so you can use the app in English and attend Norwegian lectures.

Choose it at the top right of the recording screen, before you start. A wrong language gives a poor transcription.

> Transcription does not support every language on every device yet. If a language is missing, it is not available on your device.
