# Tasks

> Keep track of assignments and reading with deadlines and reminders.

Tasks belong to a subject and can have a deadline.

## Add and finish a task

Tap **New task**, give it a title, pick a subject and set a due date if it has one. Tap the circle next to a task to mark it done.

## Postpone a task

Swipe right on a task to move it to tomorrow. Swipe left to edit or delete it.

## Filter by subject

Open a subject and tap one of its tasks to see only the tasks for that subject. You can also filter from the Tasks list.

## Reminders

A task reminds you when its deadline passes. You can turn task reminders off in [Notifications](https://help.getstudenthub.app/settings/notifications.md).
