You can see the sync status on the iCloud screen, under Settings, Data and storage: Synced, Syncing…, Sync failed, Sync has stopped or iCloud is full.

Sync failed

Close StudentHub completely and open it again. A sync that fails when the app starts can take a little while to come back, so give it a few minutes. If it keeps failing, check that you are signed in to iCloud and that you have a connection. If it still fails, write to us at hello@contact.getstudenthub.app and tell us what the screen says.

Sync has stopped

Restart the app to sync again.

iCloud is full

Your content is safe on your device, but nothing syncs until you free up space in iCloud.
1

Open Settings

Tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage.
2

Look at what takes space

Recordings and files take the most. Subjects, notes, tasks and cards weigh almost nothing.
3

Free up space

Delete what you do not need, or turn off Sync recordings and files in StudentHub. The recordings and files then move to this device.

Not signed in to iCloud

Sign in to iCloud in Settings to sync. For recordings and files, also turn on iCloud Drive.

Duplicates

If the same content appears twice, use Check for duplicates in Settings. StudentHub looks for content that exists more than once with exactly the same content and creation time, and keeps one of each. Notes you wrote alike at different times are not treated as duplicates. Notes, cards and other content move to the copy that stays, so nothing loses its subject or deck.
